NEWARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 2007--Ultralife Batteries,
Inc. (NASDAQ: ULBI) has received a contract valued at approximately $2
million to supply BA-5590 lithium-sulfur dioxide batteries to the
Australian Department of Defence. Ultralife will provide batteries
manufactured by EaglePicher Technologies, LLC through a supply
agreement. Deliveries are expected to be completed in the fourth
quarter.

BA-5590 batteries as an alternative to our industry-leading BA-5390
